knees weak he met his chick back in 6th grade.
nike air maxes clean wit the bald fade.
on his bike makin moves jus another day.
but this day he felt strange but couldn’t explain.
hit the park and get blunted wit the local dame.
hit a kick flip and rap til he find a way.
swear he had a whole plan just to make a name.
see his face in lights while he beatin up the stage.
slaps from the homies laughs bring thru the day.
comin from a place driftin to another place.
this is all he got couldn’t see another way.
wrote his first hook and this is what he had to say.

i get hoeesssss.
and money.
in reality he had nothin and dressed bummy.
barely made enough to put beer inside his tummy.
outside the corner store sippin on some sunny.
delighted jus to see the rain fall till it’s muddy.
now he’s headed home to start workin on a project
maybe he’s a star it jus really ain’t his time yet.
